End of useful life

A new purpose built office in Exeter offered Bishop Fleming the opportunity to move its data centre closer to its central staff.

At the same time its core infrastructure was reaching the end of its useful life. The company wanted to reduce power and cooling costs and reduce the amount of space required, as the computer room in the Exeter office was smaller

Bishop Fleming issued a broad specification of what it needed. Quadnet arranged a One-to-One technology briefing at its offices to explore various options and also showed Bishop Fleming its own data centre to validate the preferred solution.

Pre-installation checks

Quadnet had all the equipment delivered to its own offices, where all the components were checked and built. By the time it was delivered and installed in Exeter, it was all accounted for and working correctly.
